The Punta del Este of members

Punta del Este has two identities. The public Punta — Rambla, Playa Brava, Ovo nightclub, boat to Isla Gorriti. And the private Punta — residences in La Barra, reserved tables at Enjoy, top-floor suites at the Conrad where the window belongs to you and the Atlantic.

What happens in January

In January, Punta receives roughly 300,000 visitors. But only about 1,500 families occupy the homes in the highest-privacy zones (La Barra, José Ignacio, inland Punta Ballena). Within that cut, a smaller layer still attends dinners in residences without public invitations, poker tables in private rooms, and art events that only happen because they never appear on any agenda.

The three tables

Three addresses concentrate what matters: Enjoy Punta del Este (casino VIP wing), a residence in La Barra that never shows up in media, and a closed yacht club in Punta Ballena. In all of them, entry is by recognition — your name at reception, but your name was only passed by someone already inside.

Why Punta matters for the Circle

A Circle founder's first private experience could be in Punta. A suite with an Atlantic window. A dinner in a residence whose location arrives printed 48 hours in advance. A table reserved in a game where you know the other three names.
